Project description:
The Organic Oil Refinary-Magdeburg plant is the only one of its kind worldwide in its present constructed form, thus all parties concerned were breaking new ground. The combining and co-ordination of the various parties involved was the principle task within the framework of the project management. The tasks of the major partners ARGE Bio-Ölwerk-Magdeburg, who were responsible for the execution of the construction work, and SKET-Cimbria, who were responsible for the erection of plant components, were effectivly accomplished with the aid of the plant-specialist Mr. Reitberger INNOVAS from Munich, Germany.
The co-ordination of the steel-construction work and the installation of the plant components presented themselves as being particularily challenging.
At present the company is undergoing preparations to develop the whole plant design much further so that production capacity can be raised to a total output of 75,000 tonnes annually.
